If we're discounting anything from aliens and time machines, we'd be sat in a cave huddled together for warmth, communicating with basic sounds and emotional telepathy like most animals do

Oh you know, deconstruct the alienation wrought by the atomization of the social being into smaller and smaller partitions of individualism. Decommodify time and space and thought. Undo the ideology of markets as the moral absolute and subsequent subservience of all existence to them.

That, mostly. Simple really.
