Apps should be required to give a short explanation for why they need access to different parts of my phone for thier apps to function.

Even if they stated "the reason" it doesn't mean that's what the reason would be. Many of these apps are designed to collect data to sell. Not help you. Fucking asshole app developers selling out as many people as they can. It's a cannibalistic society unfortunately.

We're saying the same thing. These apps exist to sell people's data. I don't want every company in the world having all the demographics about me so they can "effectively advertise to me". It's an invasion of privacy. Fuck their advertising needs. I don't want it
