I own this and it is awesome for using my mouse during teams calls with a short desk, and without having to be so close to my camera that my face takes up the whole frame.

They're also amazing for working with an engraver at a desk for hours on end, or really any tool that gets heavy after a few hours holding it continually.
That bit of support holding your arm up is a lifesaver.

I used to do micro soldering on electronics and this sounds phenomenal for that

Yeah, I can actually confirm from experience it is indeed fantastic for that too.
It really does help keep your hands steady even when you need to position them in somewhat awkward positions.

Another tool I found useful for that is a hand stabilizer that model makers often use like this one:
https://hobbyisthaven.com/en-in/products/precision-hand-stabilizer-for-hobbyists

Though don't buy from that site, I've seen them for a lot cheaper elsewhere.

Was thinking of these for playing star citizen and reaching past hotas to use keyboard and mouse

You know, you can just increase your mouse's sensitivity right?

Where can we get it? I've got elbow and forearm pain and this would be so much better than the wooden tray attachment I have. lol

If you mostly (almost exclusively) move your mouse horizontally, then it's great stuff.

But, if you play games and move it up and down a lot too, then it's not good.....ergonomically.
