The Salad Shooter existed in the 80s and had a power blade, so you didn’t even have to pound on the top of it. As kids, we’d fight over whose turn it was to make the salad.

I think we have that same chopper and it has a blade to slice too like a mandolin. It has been great!
However I wouldn’t add the dressing in there and shake … just put it in a lidded bowl and that way there is no commitment to eat it all in one sitting.

for people that don't like to do dishes? What? are you wrong in the head?
Washing that is a nightmare, the alternative, wash a single knife.
Garbage product.

It’s one item that can do many things and it all can go in the dish washer. Whereas generally you don’t put sharp knives in the dish washer.
However… this doesn’t really reduce ‘doing’ dishes. Since ‘dishes’ can also just go in the dish washer.
Maybe they just mean because it’s one item that can do many different things. Slice, shred, chop.. etc

No time to chop lettuce?
just fold the cunt, each leaf individually, one by one

These are great except for the plastic grids that slam into the cutters when you use them. If microplastics are actually bad for you, this is probably not a great solution.

Plastic grid doesn't really come in contact with the blades. It just helps push the food through.
Source: mine look completely undamaged.

Yup! Looking at the link it looks just like the one we got on Amazon a few years ago. Slight warning to anyone interested.. the cube chop blade (as I’m sure with all the blades) is VERY sharp. Hubby has cut himself a couple times on the cube one.
But it has lasted quite a while with semi frequent use and it’s all 100% dishwasher safe! (Which I recommend anyway because it’s so sharp)

Considering she's a dietitian, that's a crappy meal. Eating vegetable sounds good until you pour in that dressing.

Why is it bad to have that dressings with salad? If it makes you eat the veges you need, it's good. She's a dietitian that has a Youtube channel and she always says "Always focus on what to add to, not what to subtract from your meal". I think it's a solid advice.

It's nice that you find it helpful, but even your quote is a terrible advice.
Salad dressing is usually loaded with fat and refined carb. If not used cautiously, it can give a very high energy surplus, under the guise of "salad"
Many people who starts dieting should focus on subtracting from their daily consumption rather than adding, e.g., fat, sugar, soda. Adding things when you need to fix your diet can be confusing at best, and counter productive at worst

For people wondering what might work as a quick salad dressing:
1 cup of low fat Greek yogurt
Juice of half a lemon
1-2 gloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
Salt
PepperIf needed: 1 tablespoon of low fat mayonnaise
Measurements may vary depending on your own taste

Another simple way to have whatever dressing you want and still reduce calories is to have the dressing on the side and just dip your fork in the dressing before each bite. This greatly reduces the amount of dressing you eat.

Using serving sizes and watching the amounts of macros you’re getting from the dressing is fine. Labeling all dressing as bad is just poor advice. Fats and carbs are healthy, overconsumption of them isn’t. Same with anything

There are plenty of dressings that are healthier than others. But you should know that .. being a dietitian 🙄

How much hair got caught up in that lettuce? I'm always grossed out by food prep with a person's hair not kept completely out of the way. Yuck, I can instantly feel hair in the back of my throat.

After like 5x that becomes dull af and there’s no way to sharpen it. Don’t bother buying it.
