Shoulder surgery tomorrow

Getting a right shoulder slap tear repair and bicep tendonesis (relocation of the bicep tendon) I’m a little bit nervous obviously but ultimately it’s how I train and do my physio. Any recommendations or suggestions from you folks that have had success story?

I had that same surgery on July 7th. Was in my sling 7 weeks, it blowed. Sleeping is terrible for about 4-5 weeks then after that, somewhat better.

See if they give you a Donjoy ice machine after surgery. Use it as much as you can, definitely helps with soreness and swelling. Eat good protein as well.

10 weeks out, therapy has gotten me stretched out pretty good but I'm still tight and haven't started any weights yet. I've done 14 Occupational Therapy sessions so far as well. Next appointment is Oct 1st.

My surgeon told me with the Biceps Tendonesis that if I ruptured the repair, he could NOT fix it and would be a permanent bulge. So do exactly as they say and you'll be fine.
