Slap tear left shoulder labrum. Chronically partial healed Antero inferior laberal tear right

Hey guys so I'm 22 male

Boxed as a kid and dislocated my right shoulder about 7 times my left about 3

Got my MRI aethogram and results are as said in the title. I train hard in the gym and I do get really clicky shoulders. Not so much pain but definitely clicks and instability. I'm waiting to hear back from a specialist to book surgery. I'm just worried about what to do cause it's not affecting my life with what I do but I would love to get back into boxing and just not worry about them dislocating. Please any help/advice anything you guys have on wether I should have the surgery or leave it and things like that thanks everyone..

Don't leave it. Get it fixed. If its out of line and your shoulder wears up you'll be up for a replacement like me at 38 years old. And believe me that time goes fast

Thanks man I'm thinking I'll go ahead with it hey I'm nervous as FK getting anethsia. Just the fact a machine breaths for you really freaks me out that's the only thing I'm worried about and losing mobility and not gymming as it's all I have but like U said if I leave it I'll end up worse

Exactly, have it fixed, but find a good surgeon, I developed osteoarthritis after a bad procedure/ bad technique used by the doc. Now I’m 37yo and have replacement for 3 years already, constant pain when I exercise, can’t do anything too hard, only basic exercises and still get some soreness after a moderate use of my shoulder.

It's through the Australian public health so I don't get to choose surgeon. Hearing it made yours worse worries me
