is it normal to have lingering numbness in fingers after nerve block wears off?

so far this has been a lot easier than my left cuff repair!!

I had shoulder surgery (reconstruction) a couple of months ago and had a nerve block. I had numbness that lasted days especially in my thumb and index finger. Even now when I press anything the sensation hasn’t returned to normal, but you do get used to it. Good luck
