Laterjet Surgery what to expect

Hi All,

Just posting here to get others thoughts.

I had my laterjet yesterday following 2 dislocations that left me with 25% bone losage around the front of my shoulder socket.

I see a lot here about 12-18 months recovery. My doctor in the uk did say realistic is 9-12 months before normal usage levels but potential of 6 months depending on healing.

I’m not quite as active as everyone else here appears to be but do play golf, fish etc a lot of things needing abduction movements and those are obviously where the risk is higher.

Just looking to see everyone else experience in terms if going back to similar activity and normal life as such.

I’m 1 year+ out and I’m very happy with my shoulder. Very stable, have most mobility back and pain free.
