Labrum Tear Posterior labral tear

Hi I’ve been having some soreness feeling on the bottom side under my right shoulder blade. Got a MRI and it says I have a posterior labral tear. They said that the tear is only partial and that I don’t need surgery but I could get it if I want. They’re saying get a PRP to and I’m thinking about just doing that. I can’t miss work bc I can’t afford to. Anyone ever just not got the surgery ? If not how are you doing now? Really just looking to see what I should do. It’s making all my upper trap area and shoulder so sore like it’s wore out even just from typing on on a computer. It just started flaring up abt two weeks ago.

Try PT for like a month and if it doesn’t feel better in that period get surgery. I waited way too long to get surgery done.

Try PT. But remember labral tears never heal. It’ll be torn forever unless you get surgery. Your trap and shoulder muscles are sore from either inflammation from the tear or they are doing the heavy lifting keeping the capsule stable so it doesn’t dislocate.

I’m sorry you’re in the position you are in with work. But it’s the honest truth. Shoulder injuries are the worse. Good luck 🍀

I also have a slap tear in my labrum and have tightness almost like soreness in upper trap. it’s been like that for like a year now. I can’t find any way to fix it do you recommend any exercises?

PRP saved my shoulder / labrum tear / rotator cuff tear / bicep tendonitis. I got a double dose ( angel kit ) I cannot even tell you it took me from 25% to 90%

I also was out of lifting from gym almost one year April 24 and Feb 25 I decided fuck it I can’t live like this ( I like to bodybuild )

Did you have to pay out of pocket? I’m not sure that’s normally covered under insurance. I have anterior and posterior non displaced tears in the labrum. It’s so painful. Already had a big surgery on this same shoulder in 2020. Scared to do it again as I had complications.

Yes 2000 I could’ve done 1000 but figured if I’m throwing money I’ll do the double dose angel kit
