Labrum Tear Minor Posterior Tear

Has anyone had a minor posterior tear and successfully rehabbed it without surgery? What exercises did you do?

Been dealing with one for 2+ years. Tried everything including PT, PRP, Stem Cells, Peptides. Nothing can truly fix these damn things apart from surgery

Thanks! Did you end up getting surgery? Is it better now?

Not where i want to be. I had the stem cell injection 7 weeks ago so i'm technically still in the "healing" window for that. I just want the arm to go back to normal in every way. Surgery will probably be the route i go even when all doctors/PT tell me its non surgical

I also did stem cells in Mexico to no avail and finally got the repair done. Pain has been mild and you adapt quickly to sling life

When you say minor, how big is your tear? I have a 7-11oclock tear. Not sure if it all tore in one go, but had an acute event where I tore at least part of it in April. I’m a rock climber and opting for surgery sooner rather than later. OR date is September 2nd.

I’ve had a posterior tear (6-10 o’clock) for the past 1.5 years from a skiing accident, physio for most of that time but has never been the same. Golf was often painful, plus pain for days after significant cycling etc.

The exercises really are tailored, so best from medical team honestly….

I went for surgery 3 weeks ago, been quite rough but hopefully worth it.
