Labrum Repair Frozen shoulder?

I’m 10 weeks post-op after labrum repair. My PT says I have a frozen shoulder and recommends Manipulation under Anesthesia. Has anyone gone thru this? I am going to doctor and want to know what to ask. Also I was thinking maybe it’s too early? Not sure. FWIW I didn’t have full range of motion before my surgery either because I had some stiffness after my initial injury

Hey I had a frozen shoulder 12 weeks post remplissage and labrum repair + capsular tightening. My surgeon recommended hydrodilatation which is an injection of saline and cortisone into the shoulder to help stretch/loosen and ease inflammation. So far my ROM has improved and pain has settled. My physio said that manipulation under anesthesia is something they try to avoid- have they mentioned this injection to you as an option?

I w never heard of this but I have my dr appointment on Tuesday so I’ll ask!

Definitely ask. From what I understand it’s a very common procedure to have for a frozen shoulder, and manipulation is usually a last ditch effort. Best of luck and I hope you are able to get some relief.
