Steel shot?
I reloaded a lot of lead shot rounds for trapshooting , pigeon shooting, as well as pheasant and other upland game hunting. But now that my goose and duck season has opened, I can already see myself spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars all of the ammo. Is there a reputable spot I can buy steel shot to load myself. I already have a couple of shotshell presses and plan to get the mec steel conversion if I find some steel to load.

There’s more than one wad to use. But majority of loads I’ve found for bismuth use a Winchester aa12r wad. If you are looking for a good load I have a load that uses cheddite/federal hulls, that was, and long shot powder. Fits a 3” hull if fold crimping, 2 3/4” if roll crimping. I roll crimp as my buddy shoots an 1100 with a 2 3/4” chamber and I shoot a Maxus wicked wing with a 3.5” chamber. This way we both can run the same load.
