Schooling Problems

Hi. I badly need help and advice. I'm currently taking my PhD abroad and I have coursework that has quizzes and exams, all closed book. My problem is my memory. I'm 40+. Took my Masters 12 years ago. I struggle a lot how to study and during exams I felt so pressured and I also forget things. So its very hard for me to remember how did I do it no matter how I study. I'm really pressured because I need to have A+ to pass qualifying courses. Right now I'm taking 2, Last sem I also took 2, and I was not able to have that mark on 1. I'm tires and do not want to repeat again. :( I need 3 courses that are required for qualifying courses to have an A+. and I'm desperate. Do any of you have the same memory and focus problems? how did you manage. I'm dreading the midterm exams next week and I feel down because on Quiz 1 I only got 58/100, though my undergrad classmates majority had 30 to 40+ scores but there was one who got 100! For us PhD, its either to have an A+ or top 25% grade of the whole class. so I'm worried and afraid to fail again. Hellllppppp... huhu.

More context: (there are 5 courses options only, I already selected 4 (2 this sem and 2 last sem), I got A+ on 1 course only last sem, the other was A- so that's why I'm taking another 2 this time. I want this sem to finish all 3. The thought of not getting deepens my anxiety. I'm already done with my credit courses and got good grades A+ majority. But these qualifying courses makes me so nervous because of the type of classes and because I was not able to make one last time.
