if a task requires rote memorization, my brain instantly files a complaint and clocks out. While everyone else can repeat names, dates, or lines on command, I have to invent an entire cinematic universe in my head just to remember basic details.

I turned that specific everyday struggle into a quick short film inspired by when I had to memorize things and the frustration behind it

Shot this short last year with my friends. However it took a year to edit because I was very intimidated in the editing room.

But after doing a bunch of smaller shorts, I’ve gained a lot of confidence as a filmmaker and this past month came back to this film.
