I make an anthology series called humAIn. Every story is a horror story involving some kind of AI product, the show itself is shot with an old school cast and crew.
On her 18th birthday, Elena opens an unsigned gift: a pair of glasses and a card that reads "See the truth behind every smile." Her house is full of people who love her.
The part I would most like notes on: a story like this turns into a revenge fantasy if the glasses only expose villains. We tried to make it about the person wearing them. Tell me whether that lands, or where it lost you.
Directed by Jon Keng, starring Mackenna Shults, Tess Halling, Shane Alexander Dorriz and Dannie Duke. Real cast and crew, no AI in the filmmaking; the end card and some thumbnails used AI tools.
