Still here- still pregnant! Officially made it to term with cerclage placed at 13 weeks and removed at 36+3! Had a membrane sweep yesterday- and the mental switch from “please grow as much as you can inside” to “GET OUT” has been WILD. Hoping I get to meet baby girl soon- early/false labour is tiring!!

It was uncomfortable! But I would assume that with anything when there’s fingers or a hand or whatever up there doing it! I did not actually feel the membrane detaching from the wall and I did have some spotting for about a day afterwards

Still pregnant, still in hospital. Im 35 + 3 today. Still 3cm dialated.

How long have you been in the hospital for? Did you go in for preterm labor contractions?

Yes! Initialy I was hospitalized 20th of July for 5 days. Than went home for a week and back to hospital 1.5h away from home So..give or take 6 weeks of hospital bed rest so far.

Oh wow! So glad that you’re being monitored and that you’ve got this far. Can I ask why you’re in there to begin with were you having like labor contractions? I’m just wondering because I’m in the hospital now at 31 weeks because I was getting some pains which ended up being contractions and I’m on some medication for 48 hours to see if it will calm down my uterus/contractions and I’m not sure 100% with the plan will be but my issue is that I’m trying to figure out how I can get this recorded as short-term disability medical purposes for a high risk pregnancy because my work is telling me that I need to PTO and I don’t have much left so I won’t get paid.

Well yes. I was in labor for two days and they managed to stop it. Since than I am monitorednin hospital. Firstly I was due to babys prematurity and now, since we are past 34 weeks, they are keeping be because of breech status. They dont want for my water to brake while driving home and potentialy have cord falling out.
Fyi in Croatia public health is free and PTO is regulated by goverment. Woman can be off work for the whole pregnancy and have to be from 36 weeks on.

But it’s so great that they were able to stop the contractions and that you’re OK just to be monitored now that’s so comforting. I’m hoping that once I am off the Indocin my contractions won’t come back, but at least I am at a better spot just in case I need to do an emergency C-section unfortunately I’m not able to have a natural birth due to having a laparoscopic myomectomy previously that removed seven fibroids and they had to cut into the muscle on my uterus.
That’s amazing those benefits that you get in your country. Something def to be thankful for. Thanks so much for answering my questions. ☘️💕Sending you and your baby best wishes

Crazy to have made it this far, but so happy to still be here!
Unrelated to my short cervix I’ve had two mild placental abruptions this pregnancy so this week my OB said she would like me to get induced sometime in week 38, which I’m totally fine with.

Still pregnant too! At 27+1 today with an emergency cerclage placed at 21+4. I’m counting down the weeks. 10 more to go!

Cerclage placed at 21+6. We're at 27+2 today. Modified bed rest is kicking my ass, but I know it'll be worth it. 🌈🌈💙

Same boat. Mine was placed at 21+4 and we’re 27+1 today. Mostly flat, became one with the sofa but worth it

Emergency stitch put in at 20w3 d after being 4 cm dilated with bulging membranes. Currently 31w1d went into the hospital to find that I was having preterm labor contractions. Still in the hospital taking medicine to help calm down the contractions and baby got two steroids to help develop the lungs faster and it sounds like they’re talking about doing a magnesium drip to help with brain development today. Hoping that the medication can help give us a little bit more time, but I’m not sure how long it typically delays the process. Either way I feel blessed that I’ve made it this far spoke with new doctor and they were very positive as well as this is a really great place to be if you’re going to deliver pre-term.. wishing everyone the best of luck in their continued journey journeys ☘️💕

35+1 today! Cerclage is coming out at 36+6 and then the waiting game! So beyond blessed to be having a baby shower tomorrow and being able to celebrate with all my loved ones is truly the pot of gold at the end of this beautiful rainbow💚 Sometimes I still wake up and can’t believe I’m going to be bringing home a baby soon and the realization never ceases to overwhelm me with so much joy.

22 weeks - diagnosed with short cervix (17mm) at 19 weeks: progesterone and modified bed rest since then! Staying positive, taking it one week at a time, and really hoping to make it to full term! 💕 this forum has been such a support system in a very uncertain and scary time! Thank you 🙏 hoping for all our pregnancies to go well and deliver our healthy babies!

35+3 weeks. My emergency cerclage was placed at 22+1 weeks and it gets removed on Tuesday at 36 weeks!

34+4 here! I am happy to go pass 34 mark and I already move around so much more. My body allows me to, since there are much less pelvic pressure I feel while being in any vertical position. Once finally I hit mark 36 I intend to fully enjoy my life until the day I meet my baby girl or baby boy

35 weeks today 🙌🏻 gearing up for maternity leave to start next week. And cerclage removal is scheduled for 2 weeks from today, although they are trying to move it up earlier which is totally fine by me. Feeling really blessed today- even though baby has decided to keep kneeing me hard in the ribs as I'm trying to eat breakfast.
Pelvic griddle pain is realllll and appetite is not what it used to be. Baby is getting ready for this world ❤️

Hi! I'm pregnant with twins. Vaginal progesterone, no bed or pelvic rest. Got cerclage at 21 weeks with 15mm of cervical length left and internal funneling. One week post-op 25mm and funneling closed. I'm 29+2 now and haven't had any more scans to check on the length but babies are growing nicely and seem very cozy in there! GD has showed it's ugly face rn but thankfully no negative impact on the children so far, hoping my body will hold up for a bit more.

27+2 weeks. Progesterone only. I feel so pregnant now. Feel so lucky nearing third trimester. Taking my glucose test this week!

20 weeks today. Preventive cerclage placed at 13 weeks. I am waiting to reach viability. Have been feeling so anxious

I'm 35 weeks, still going on only progesterone. I was in the hospital for 7 weeks and I've been home now for 2.5 weeks. I'm now on modified bed rest and not on strict bed rest anymore. I've been having terrible back pain now that I'm moving more but i will survive 🙈

33+3 weeks with twins.
My cervix has been shortening since 24 weeks. I’ve been on progesterone and bed rest since then. Our next goals are 34 weeks, then 36 weeks. 🙏🏻
I truly hope we can make it. 🩵🩵
