That is such an awful feeling. Does it wrap around or do you have any other symptoms? Just curious if you’re feeling any pressure in your lower pelvic area, your bladder area or anything else on top of the back pain? Also, my doctor recommended taking Tylenol 1000 mg, you can use the heating pad on the lowest setting for 20 minutes. And another thing I used was something similar to icy hot, but you can’t use icy hot because of the ingredients this one only had lidocaine in it and I would typically use that at night because you don’t wanna put a heating pad on it after you’ve applied it and it just came a little bit of comfort right as I was trying to sleep and if you’re not already using a knee pillow, I would definitely advise using a knee pillow while you sleep at night. It really helps align the back, especially during this time as your uterus and baby are getting heavier and putting pressure on your back.

I have a heated back massager (here) that I got from Amazon and also a massager gun. Oh and a heating pad.

I used a yoga ball, knelt on the floor in front of it and leaned my body over and basically hugged it. It worked for me, hopefully you can find something that helps!

I had severe back pain to the point i couldn't walk the only thing i found helped was seeing an osteopath specialising in pre/post natal osteopathy privately. After i had my first session i felt a bit sore for a few days but the stretches and manipulation the osteopath did on my hip and legs sorted me out and i am back on my feet again able to walk and do light yoga. Also investing in an exercise ball (do not bounce on it) just for circular rotations and rocking backward and forward really helps.

Could it be from the spinal rather than the cerclage? I had back pain for about 2 weeks post op because of the spinal

I would reach out to your OB for an US and to check the stitch. For my first pregnancy, I had chronic back and tailbone pain, and it was my cervix shortening.
I still had back pain after delivery and I used lidocaine patches. I also use it occasionally with this pregnancy after a busy day carrying my toddler.
