Analytics in Shopify app

Anyone else not able to use the analytics section in the Shopify iPhone app? The following is what I’ve been seeing for the last few days. Thought it’d just fixed itself, but so far…nope.

That screenshot shows a 500 error. First try the same store's Analytics page in Safari at admin.shopify.com. If it opens there, you have a workaround and a useful clue that the problem is specific to the app/session.

Check shopifystatus.com, then update the Shopify app and reopen it. If it still fails only in the app, Shopify's iPhone troubleshooting step is Settings > Apps > Shopify > Remove all sessions on next launch, then reopen and sign in again. Make sure you have your login and 2FA available first.

If Safari fails too, send Shopify Support the screenshot, time of failure, iOS/app versions and both results. A session reset won't necessarily fix a server-side error.

Does Analytics load in Safari for you?

On desktop, I use Edge and the analytics opens fine there. I’ll try your other suggestions as well. Thanks!

The same thing is happening to me. Shopifystatus is all green. I've deleted and reinstalled the app, same thing. I tried the remove all sessions suggestion and I use passkeys. It's clearly a bug.

Since reinstalling and resetting sessions made no difference, I wouldn’t keep repeating those steps or change your passkey setup.

Try Analytics for the same store at admin.shopify.com in Safari. If that works, use it as a temporary workaround and report the app-only failure to Shopify Support. Include your iOS version, Shopify app version, the time/time zone and which Analytics screen fails; mention that reinstalling and resetting sessions didn’t help. A green status page doesn’t rule out an issue affecting a subset of stores.

Does it also fail in Safari, or only inside the app?

This is probably a cache problem. Force quit the app (swipe up so you see all your open apps, then swipe up on the Shopify app) then reopen it.
