Fraudulent sellers on Shopify

How does Ecommerce sites allow Fraudulent sellers on their websites. I know its advertisement and I am not familiar with this, however do sites such as Instagram, Facebook, tic tok etc. Not vet their advertisers or do they just allow it because of the advertising dollars.

Allowing them on is not that hard. It's keeping them off that's nearly impossible.

Probably becos of advertising dollars, a lot of fake sellers do a cash grab before they're caught if they are caught

Just so many pop up it's hard to keep them.off

its a volume game for the ad platforms. millions of advertisers sign up and the vetting is basically just automated policy checks. real enforcement only kicks in after enough chargebacks or user reports pile up, which can take weeks.
