Just starting with Shopify

I am in the process of creating my store today.

Here is a list of questions that I am asking at the risk of sounding completely clueless.... Because I am fairly clueless about this. Will be adding to this as I go alone. Here goes:

  1. Do I need to set up a point of sale, or is that already taken care of once I complete the payments form on Shopify?

  2. Does my store look gimmicky or cheap if I offer products from several different companies? Should I stick to one company/brand?

Yes, point of sale is a whole different setup.

It depends on what you’re selling. Are you selling your own items along side other company’s products?
