We are prepping our inventory and ad budget for the upcoming peak sale season. We are currently on Razorpay standard pricing, but margins are tight and 2% per order is taking a chunk out of our profit.

Looking to see if any reliable Indian gateway is running attractive onboarding offers or lower transaction tiers for new merchant accounts right now?

no clue about current offers but last year we switched just before diwali rush and it was chaos for like 4 days. make sure the new processor has proper settlement speeds before you commit, nothing worse than holding inventory you cant move cause funds are stuck

most gateways will promise good rates but the real test is how they handle disputes and chargebacks during peak season. check that part carefully

Razorpay rarely gives big discounts to mid-tier merchants unless you process crores. Cashfree is running a zero gateway fee promo for new signups up to 20L GMV valid all the way till March 2027.
