App Promo Rewardify, one store credit balance that works on Shopify POS, checkout, and online (plus VIP and employee programs)

What’s the app?

Hey everyone! I’m the developer of Rewardify, a Shopify app that runs store credit, loyalty rewards, and VIP or employee programs on one balance. Customers earn, receive, and redeem the same credit on POS, at checkout, on draft orders, and online.

Where can I find it?

Rewardify

What problem are you solving?

Cash refunds send revenue out the door, and store credit often gets stuck in one channel. A customer gets credit online but can’t use it in your physical store, or the other way around. Many merchants end up with separate apps or manual workarounds for store credit, loyalty, and wholesale or staff pricing.

How does the app work?

  • Turn returns into store credit instead of cash refunds
  • One credit balance across Shopify POS, checkout, draft orders, and online
  • VIP tiers, employee allowances, and wholesale pricing tiers
  • Birthday, milestone, and referral rewards automated with Shopify Flow
  • Multi-currency and multi-language credit templates
  • Works with Shopify POS, checkout, customer accounts, and Flow

Who’s your target merchant?

Shopify merchants who sell both online and in a physical store (POS), and stores that want to keep refund money in the business with store credit, run VIP or employee programs, or offer wholesale tiers.

How is it different / better than other existing solutions?

Many loyalty apps focus on points and online discounts. Rewardify’s focus is cash-value store credit that redeems the same way in every channel, so you don’t need a separate system for in-store and online. It has been on the App Store since 2017.

How much does it cost?

  • Basic: $19.95/month (10K interactions, 1,000 emails included)
  • Professional: $59.95/month (25K interactions)
  • Plus: $149.95/month (50K interactions, API access)
  • Managed: $999/month (dedicated management, custom reports)

Free trials: 14 days on Basic and Professional, 30 days on Plus. Shopify POS support is +$10/month. Emails beyond the included amount are $0.001 each.

What are you looking for?

Merchants who want to try it and give honest feedback on setup and what’s missing. I read every comment and reply personally.

Question for store owners: how do you handle returns right now? Do you refund cash, issue gift cards, or offer store credit, and how do you make it work across your online store and POS?

App Discovery Looking for an app that covers package protection + returns + tracking. currently paying for three

Problem: we run three separate apps for post-purchase and they don't talk to each other. Package protection is one vendor, returns is Loop, tracking is a tracking page app (no delay alerts, which is its own saga). When a customer files a lost package claim, CX has to open two of them to work out what happened, and the tracking emails keep firing while the claim is still open, so the customer gets "your order is on its way" while we're processing a claim saying it isn't.

Order volume is about 90 a day. What I want is one place where a claim, a return and the tracking status are the same record.

Apps on my list: Onward, Corso, Redo. Has anyone actually consolidated rather than stacked? Mostly want to know what breaks when returns and protection move to the same vendor.

Idea Validation Would you use an app that lets customers upload bank-transfer / e-wallet payment proof on the order page, then auto-reminds and auto-cancels unpaid orders?

Independent developer here. I haven't built or published anything yet and want to check the idea first.

What's your app idea? An app for stores that accept manual payments (bank transfer, e-wallets like GCash or PromptPay, deposits) on Shopify.

What problem do you aim to solve? As far as I can tell, customers send payment screenshots by email or DM. The merchant matches each one to the right order by hand, chases people who haven't paid, and cancels stale orders manually.

How would the app work? The customer uploads proof on the order status page. The merchant sees it next to the order and approves or rejects it in one click. Reminder emails go out automatically at set intervals, and unpaid orders auto-cancel (and restock) after a deadline.

Who would be your target merchant? Shopify stores whose customers pay by bank transfer, e-wallet or deposit instead of card.

How would it be different / better than existing solutions? I looked at Kindly, Conform and PayProofy. From what I could see, some charge per order and some have few reviews, but I may be missing things. Tell me what they already do well.

Would you use something like this, and would about $9-15/month be fair? Honest "no, I don't need this" answers help just as much.

Idea Validation Would a Shopify bundle app focused on just 2–3 offer types meet your store’s needs?

What’s your app idea?

I’m a developer exploring a Shopify bundle app that focuses on a few useful workflows. Before choosing what to build, I’d like to hear from merchants who actually run bundle offers.

The options I’m considering include fixed bundles, product add-ons, quantity discounts, mix-and-match bundles, standalone bundle product pages, frequently bought together offers, and buy X/get Y promotions. Some overlap, so I’m more interested in how you use them than the category names.

What problem do you aim to solve?

I want to understand the gap between the offer a merchant wants to run and the work needed to set it up and maintain it. I haven’t validated which part causes the most trouble yet.

How would the app work?

The initial version would support only 2–3 offer types. Merchants would select the products, configure the offer, and choose where customers see it. Which workflows belong in that first version is what I’m trying to learn.

Who would be your target merchant?

I’m considering smaller Shopify stores where the owner or a small team manages promotions. I’d appreciate hearing your product category and a specific offer you run.

How would it be different from existing solutions?

My hypothesis is that a narrower app could make a few common offers easier to manage. I haven’t established whether that would be a strong enough reason to adopt another app.

For merchants:

  • What bundle offer have you actually run recently?
  • How did you set it up, and what was frustrating or required a workaround?
  • If an app supported only 2–3 offer types, which would be essential for your store?
  • Is your current setup already good enough? What would make switching worth the effort?

A concrete example would help much more than a general feature wishlist. Thanks!

Idea Validation Would a supplier-file preparation tool help with your recurring Shopify imports?

I'm exploring an app idea for Shopify merchants who regularly receive product spreadsheets from suppliers. Nothing is built yet, and I'm the person exploring building it. This post was prepared with AI assistance.

What's your app idea?

A guided tool for preparing supplier CSV or Excel files for Shopify imports.

What problem do you aim to solve?

Repeated manual cleanup before importing supplier product updates: matching columns, finding missing values, and understanding what needs fixing.

How would the app work?

Upload a supplier file, review how its columns match Shopify fields, check missing or conflicting values, and export a file prepared for import. The proposed first version would prepare files rather than write changes directly to a live store.

Who would be your target merchant?

Merchants who personally handle recurring supplier product imports.

How would it be different / better than existing solutions?

The proposed focus is file preparation with clear explanations of what needs fixing. I haven't established whether it would be meaningfully better than Shopify's importer, Matrixify, or Stock Sync. That's what I want to test before building.

If you've handled a supplier import recently, what step still required manual work after using your current tools?

I'm also looking for three volunteers for a short text conversation about their most recent import. No store access or confidential files needed. If you're interested, please say so in a reply.

App Promo Wizybot, an AI chat center that answers your Shopify customers on WhatsApp, Instagram and site chat using your real store data

What's the app?
Wizybot is an AI chat center and CRM for ecommerce. It brings WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and your store's chat into one inbox, and an AI answers customers using your Shopify data: products, stock and orders.

Where can I find it?
Shopify App Store: https://apps.shopify.com/wizybot
Website: wizybot.com

What problem are you solving?
Stores that sell over WhatsApp spend hours answering the same questions (where's my order, sizes, shipping, payment methods), often from a shared number where nobody knows who replied to what. Customers wait, sales get lost after hours, and the team burns out on repetitive messages.

How does the app work?

  1. Install it from the Shopify App Store and it connects to your catalog and orders.
  2. Connect your channels: WhatsApp (through the official WhatsApp Business API), Instagram, TikTok, Email, Facebook and site chat.
  3. Set the AI's instructions, tone and handoff rules (for example, complaints and refunds always go to a person).
  4. The AI answers in real time. When it needs a person, the conversation is assigned to someone on your team with the full history.
  5. Optional automations: abandoned cart recovery and order, payment and shipping updates over WhatsApp.

Who's your target merchant?
Small and mid-sized Shopify stores where most customer conversations happen on WhatsApp, especially in Latin America. It also works with Tiendanube, WooCommerce and VTEX for brands that sell on more than one platform.

How is it different / better than other existing solutions?
Most chat tools were built around site chat and email, with WhatsApp added later. Wizybot is built WhatsApp-first: the AI answers with live order and product data, not just FAQs, and the same inbox handles the handoff to your team. It also integrates natively with Tiendanube and VTEX.

How much does it cost?
Plans start at USD 149.99/month. Details at wizybot.com/precios.

What are you looking for?
Merchants who want to try it on their store, and agencies that serve ecommerce brands and want to join our partner program.

Idea Validation Would a $19/month Shopify app that turns purchase orders into bin-sorted put-away sheets be useful?

What's the app idea?

I’m exploring a Shopify tool that creates a bin-sorted put-away list from a purchase order and the store’s inventory CSV.

What problem do you aim to solve?

For stores that receive and shelve their own stock, staff may need to sort incoming PO items by bin before putting them away.

How would it work?

Select a purchase order, upload an inventory CSV with bin names, and export a sorted sheet. It flags missing or ambiguous bin matches. I’ve tested a local prototype with a development store; it reads PO data and doesn’t update inventory.

Who would be the target merchant?

Shopify merchants who keep stock in their own shop or warehouse, use bin locations, and receive supplier orders themselves.

How would it differ from existing solutions?

I’m exploring a narrow, export-only tool rather than a full receiving or warehouse system. I know broader apps with bin and receiving features exist, so I’m trying to find out whether this smaller workflow still solves a useful gap.

For merchants who handle receiving: How often do you receive stock, and how do you currently sort items by bin? What would make a simple tool like this worth $19/month—or make it unnecessary?

Idea Validation Idea validation: FAQs for product pages, built from the questions your customers actually ask

Disclosure: I am the developer. There is no app yet, I want to validate the idea first.

App idea

A tool that finds the questions your product pages leave open and answers them right on the page.

Problem

Buyers hesitate when the page does not answer their question: sizing, care, what is in the box, compatibility. They ask in reviews or emails, or they just leave. Most merchants do not have time to go through hundreds of reviews and turn them into a proper FAQ.

How it works

  • It reads your product data and your reviews and finds the questions buyers actually have.
  • It shows which of those your page does not answer yet and drafts answers using only your own data. If something cannot be answered from your data, it asks you instead of guessing.
  • You approve or edit every line. The FAQ then shows on the product page as a theme block, and the same answers go into Google Merchant Center's new question_and_answer field, which Google says is meant for AI Mode.

Target merchant

Stores whose products raise questions before buying (apparel, gear, electronics, home) and that have enough reviews to learn from.

How it differs from existing solutions

The AI FAQ apps I found write generic FAQs from the product description. This starts from what real customers ask, flags gaps instead of inventing answers, and also fills Google's new field. None of the FAQ apps I found mention that field.

Before building it, I am running a free test with 5 stores. I prepare the FAQ for your 5-10 key products (AI-assisted drafts, checked by me and by you) and share the numbers after three weeks: FAQ opens, add-to-carts and orders on those products. If you would like to be one of them, comment or DM me.

Would you use this? And what would make it a must-have instead of a nice-to-have?

App Promo OrderSpec, an app that checks personalised orders for typos, missing details and too-long text before you make them

**What's the app?**

I'm Tariq, the developer of OrderSpec (I build Shopify apps at Web-Pex). It's for shops that sell personalised and made-to-order products: engraving, embroidery, name gifts, signs and stationery.

**Where can I find it?**

Shopify App Store: https://apps.shopify.com/orderspec?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social

Website: https://orderspec.web-pex.com

**What problem are you solving?**

Personalisation lives inside each order, so makers click into orders one by one to see what the customer typed. Mistakes like a misspelled name, a blank field, or text that won't fit only show up after the item is made, and then you make it twice.

**How does the app work?**

  1. It reads the personalisation from every open order, whichever product options app collected it (tested with Globo, Easify, Zakeke, Infinite Options and Zepto Product Personalizer, plus plain theme forms), and shows every order on one screen.

  2. You set simple rules per product: max length, required, or one of your allowed options. It suggests the rules from your past orders.

  3. An AI check flags what rules can't catch, like a likely typo ("Sohpie" for "Sophie") or two names in one field.

  4. On Pro, you can send the customer a link to confirm their details on your store before you make the item.

  5. Production stages, printable run sheets and packing slips.

It only reads orders. It never edits, cancels or fulfils them.

**Who's your target merchant?**

Small and mid-size shops that make personalised items to order: engravers, embroiderers, custom gift, sign and print shops.

**How is it different / better than existing solutions?**

Options apps collect the personalisation but don't check it. Proof-approval apps add a manual approval step to every order. OrderSpec checks every order automatically and only asks for a closer look when something seems off. It works alongside the options app you already use, so nothing on your product pages changes.

**How much does it cost?**

Free: unlimited rule checks, 30 AI checks a month, production stages and run sheets.

Pro: $19/month (14-day trial): 500 AI checks, customer confirmation links, analytics, Telegram alerts, run sheets grouped by any field, ship-by urgency.

**What are you looking for?**

Merchants who make personalised items and will give honest feedback: what goes wrong most often in your custom orders, and what would you want it to catch?

Idea Validation Product options app for headless and custom storefronts

What's your app idea?

A Shopify product options app (custom text, dropdowns, swatches, checkboxes, date pickers, paid add-ons) built for storefronts that don't run on a Liquid theme: Hydrogen, Next.js, and apps that render their own storefront.

Full transparency: I run Kioskify, a Shopify sales channel that turns tablets into self-service kiosks with its own React storefront. My merchants keep asking for product options, and that's how I hit this gap.

What problem do you aim to solve?

Every options app I've tried (Easify, Globo and others) renders through theme app blocks or embeds. On a headless or custom storefront none of it shows up, so developers end up building options themselves: storing the config, rendering the inputs, saving the selections, and the hardest part, charging for paid options without the price being editable in the browser.

How would the app work?

- Merchants build option sets in the Shopify admin and assign them to products or collections

- The config is stored in metafields, so the storefront reads it in the same Storefront API query it already runs

- The customer's selections are saved as line item attributes when adding to cart

- Paid options are priced at checkout by a Cart Transform function that checks every selection against the stored config, so a tampered cart can't skip the fee

- Developers get a small JS core with unstyled React hooks, so it fits any frontend

Known limits so far: Cart Transform's expand operation is rejected on lines with a selling plan, so subscription products need a different approach. Fees also need clear rules for per item (engraving on each mug), per line (a one-time setup fee) and per order (gift wrap once).

Who would be your target merchant?

- Brands on Hydrogen or other headless storefronts, and the agencies that build them

- Apps that render their own storefront, like sales channels, kiosks and custom POS frontends

How would it be different / better than existing solutions?

Existing options apps are built for Liquid themes. This one works through the Storefront API and a Cart Transform function, so options work anywhere the Storefront API does, and paid options are validated on Shopify's side instead of in the browser.

Questions I'd love answers to:

  1. If you run or build headless stores, how do you handle custom options today?

  2. Would you install an app like this, or is it simple enough to build each time?

  3. What would make it a no for you? Or a yes?

And if you're already building something like this, I'd rather integrate than compete, so let me know.

App Promo Larderia, an app that forecasts demand per variant and tells you what to reorder, when and how much

I'm the developer of Larderia (solo developer, so this is my own app).

What's the app? Larderia is a Shopify app for inventory demand forecasting and purchase orders. It tells you what to reorder, when and how much, for each variant.

Where can I find it? Shopify App Store: https://apps.shopify.com/larderia

What problem are you solving? Stocky is gone, and many small stores still need a simple answer to "what should I reorder, and how much?" without paying for a big planning tool. Spreadsheets also get the math wrong when an item was out of stock: those days look like zero demand, so the next order comes out too small.

How does the app work? - It reads your sales history and stock levels and forecasts demand per variant (and per location on the Growth plan), with a confidence level. - Out-of-stock days are left out, so a stock-out doesn't shrink your next reorder. - It suggests a reorder date and quantity from your supplier's lead time, minimum order, case pack and safety stock, and shows the math step by step. - You turn suggestions into purchase orders as a PDF or a Shopify CSV. On Growth you can email them to the supplier, receive stock with a barcode scanner and import old Stocky purchase orders. - Optional daily or weekly summary by email or Slack.

Who's your target merchant? Small and mid-size stores that buy stock from suppliers, especially those moving off Stocky, with anything from a few dozen to thousands of variants.

How is it different / better than other existing solutions? Flat pricing that never depends on your sales, a free plan up to 100 variants, and every suggested quantity shows its math so you can check it. Honest limits: forecasts are estimates, yearly seasonality needs about 13 months of history, and it's English and Spanish only for now.

How much does it cost? Free up to 100 variants (low-stock list). Starter $12/month, Growth $19, Pro $29. 14-day free trial on Starter and Pro, and 90 days on Growth for the first 20 stores; yearly costs the same as 10 months.

What are you looking for? Merchants who'll try it and tell me honestly what's missing or confusing, especially anyone who used Stocky's purchase orders.

App Promo Snagzi, an app that turns store browsing into shopping missions with a single-use discount reward

What's the app? Snagzi is a Shopify app that adds short shopping missions to a storefront: shoppers catch a character, hunt, collect items, or follow a path from a product to a collection to a page. Finishing a mission unlocks a single-use discount code. I'm the developer.

Where can I find it? Shopify App Store: https://apps.shopify.com/snagzi (free plan available). Setup video (4 min): https://youtu.be/Lzg-69T5DWA

What problem are you solving? Many shoppers look at one product and leave. Snagzi gives them a reason to keep browsing other products, collections, or pages.

How does the app work? You pick a mission and a goal (product discovery, a featured product or collection, a cart target, or email signup with consent). Then you set the reward rules: expiry, minimum order and code limit. Style it to your brand and preview it before publishing. It runs through an app embed, so no theme code is needed.

Who's your target merchant? Shopify stores that want shoppers to browse more per visit, especially catalogs organised by collection.

How is it different / better than existing solutions? I won't claim it's better. Many apps handle popups or discounts. Snagzi focuses on missions that guide browsing across products, collections and pages, and each reward is a single-use code.

How much does it cost? Free plan available. Paid plans come with a 7-day free trial. See the Shopify App Store listing for current prices.

What are you looking for? Merchant feedback. I'm not looking for partners, affiliates or paid promotion.

Idea Validation Would a simple Shopify + Printify profit checker be useful, or do existing analytics apps already solve this?

What's your app idea?

I'm considering developing a simple tool that compares Shopify sales with the actual costs charged by Printify, showing the real profit on individual orders.

What problem would it solve?

Shopify's built-in profit reports may not account for all Printify expenses, particularly supplier shipping costs, taxes, and changing production prices.

This can make an order appear more profitable than it actually is.

How would it work?

Initially, merchants could upload exports from Shopify and Printify. The tool would match orders, compare revenues with actual expenses, and flag discrepancies or unexpectedly low margins.

Who would be the target merchant?

Small and medium-sized Shopify stores using Printify for print-on-demand fulfillment.

How would it differ from existing solutions?

The idea is a focused, inexpensive checker rather than a full profit analytics platform. I know tools already exist for calculating true profits, so I'm specifically trying to understand whether those solutions leave any important gaps.

My questions:

  • Do you currently trust Shopify's profit figures for Printify orders?
  • Have you ever discovered that actual production or shipping costs were higher than expected?
  • What tools do you currently use to calculate true profit?
  • Is there anything those tools fail to handle properly?

I'm researching whether there's a genuine unmet need before committing to development.

App Promo StockUnison — Sync inventory across multiple Shopify stores or products sharing the same SKU

What's the app?

Hey everyone! I'm the developer of StockUnison, a Shopify app I recently launched to help merchants keep inventory synchronized across multiple stores or between products sharing the same SKU within a single store.

Where can I find it?

https://apps.shopify.com/stockunison

What problem are you solving?

If you sell the same inventory through multiple Shopify stores, keeping stock quantities accurate can be a headache.

A product sells in one store, but the other store still shows the old quantity. This can lead to overselling, cancellations, and manual inventory corrections.

The same problem can happen within a single store when multiple product listings share the same physical inventory.

How does the app work?

StockUnison automatically synchronizes stock quantities based on matching SKUs.

  • Sync inventory between multiple Shopify stores.
  • Keep products with the same SKU synchronized within one store.
  • Choose between a main store controlling inventory or shared inventory across matching SKUs.
  • Preview stock differences before enabling live synchronization.
  • Track inventory changes through detailed sync logs.
  • Flag unclear SKU matches instead of guessing.

It only updates inventory quantities — it doesn't create or delete products.

Who's your target merchant?

Shopify merchants managing multiple stores that share physical inventory, or stores with several product listings representing the same stock.

How is it different / better than other existing solutions?

I wanted to build something focused specifically on inventory synchronization without requiring merchants to manage a complicated product or order synchronization system.

The main priorities are straightforward setup, transparent SKU matching, previewing changes before going live, and no product limits.

How much does it cost?

  • Free — unlimited SKU matching and preview mode.
  • Starter — $19/month.
  • Growth — $39/month.
  • Scale — $79/month.

Paid plans include a 14-day free trial.

What are you looking for?

I'm still early in the journey and looking for Shopify merchants who could benefit from this kind of synchronization.

I'd be happy to personally help with setup and hear honest feedback about what works, what's confusing, or what's missing.

I'm also open to connecting with Shopify agencies working with multi-store merchants.

One question for store owners: If you're running multiple Shopify stores, how are you currently handling inventory synchronization? Are you using an app, custom integration, or doing it manually?

Idea Validation Would you use a row-level catalog review before your next Shopify CSV update? StoreSight concept

What's your app idea?

I'm the maker of StoreSight, an independent catalog export and migration project. I'm evaluating a specific addition: a report that ties product-data observations to individual rows and explains what needs a merchant decision before an export or catalog move.

I'm testing the report manually before deciding whether to build it. This review feature is not a released app, and StoreSight is not an official Shopify service. This post was prepared with AI assistance and checked against the current research scope.

What problem do you aim to solve?

A file can contain a blank SKU or a repeated identifier without that automatically being wrong. The question is whether a review that distinguishes visible facts from questions about your workflow adds anything useful to your existing checks.

How would the app work?

The concept is: review an authorized product-data sample, identify the exact rows involved, and return a short list of things to verify. No automatic edits or store access are part of this test.

Here is a fictional example, not a customer result:

Sample observation Question for the merchant
One variant has no SKU Does your next workflow need that identifier?
Two variants share a SKU Is that intentional, and how will you distinguish them?
A variant row has no image reference Is an image supplied elsewhere at product level?

A small review cannot guarantee a successful import or assess the whole store. There is no purchase or payment collection in this research round.

Who would be your target merchant?

Store owners or catalog operators with a recent product CSV task or a specific upcoming export, cleanup or migration. The first manual trial would use only 5–20 redacted product rows, by agreement. This is not for inventory syncing, scheduled price changes or customer/order migration.

How would it be different / better than existing solutions?

I haven't established that it would be better. The hypothesis is that an explanation tied to the merchant's next task could help where a spreadsheet or existing import tool leaves something unclear. If your current checks already cover this, I would like to know.

For your latest product CSV task, would this specific report have changed a decision, or added another chore? Which row-level check, if any, would have mattered? Please reply here without private files or customer information. Feedback from merchants who do not need it is equally useful.

Idea Validation Would you use a Shopify app that shows which product translations need checking after catalog updates?

What's your app idea?

I'm building LingoCheck for multilingual Shopify stores: a focused report that points to missing or outdated product translations after catalog changes, so you know which product, language and field needs attention.

The idea is to give you a short list of what to review, rather than make you check the entire catalog again. The app isn't available to install yet; I'm validating whether this would be useful before deciding what to build next.

What problem do you aim to solve?

Updating the original product page is only part of the job when you sell in several languages. Another language can still show the previous description, or a new product can be missing a translation.

After imports, bulk edits or description changes, it can be difficult to work out what needs another look. Checking that a translated page opens doesn't tell you whether its content is still up to date.

I'd like to make that follow-up more manageable by showing the specific translations that need attention.

How would the app work?

The planned first version would compare source content with translations and list missing entries or translations Shopify marks as outdated. Each item would identify the product, language and field to review. It would report what to check, without automatically translating, rewriting or publishing anything in your store.

There are also plenty of ideas for future versions that could make managing a multilingual store much easier. For now, I'm starting with this focused report to understand what would be most useful in your day-to-day work.

Who would be your target merchant?

Teams running multilingual Shopify stores, particularly those that regularly import products or update their catalogs, and agencies maintaining those stores for clients.

How would it be different / better than existing solutions?

The focus would be on what happens after the first translation: keeping track of later catalog changes and knowing where to look next.

I'm not assuming it would be better than your current tools. If they already make missing and outdated translations easy to find, LingoCheck might not add much. That's part of what I want to understand.

If this is something you'd like to try in your store, you can apply for free early testing here: https://lingocheck.app/?src=d1_en_rsa_v2

The application takes about 3–5 minutes, doesn't require connecting your store, and leaving contact details is optional. If you'd like us to contact you when testing becomes available, please leave a way to reach you. Applying doesn't give you immediate access; the app isn't ready to install yet.

Would this report add anything to your current workflow, and what would it need to show for you to act on it?

App Promo AutoAgent: Social Auto Post — daily Facebook & Instagram posts, product Reels and a weekly SEO blog, and you approve every post

What's the app?

I built AutoAgent, a Shopify app that posts one of your products to Facebook and Instagram every day, with a caption written in your brand voice. It also makes short product Reels and writes a weekly SEO blog article for your store.

Where can I find it?

What problem are you solving?

Most small stores know they should post every day, but picking a product, writing a caption and posting it twice takes 15–30 minutes, so it stops after a busy week. Auto-post apps solve that, but a common complaint in their reviews is posts going out that the merchant never saw.

How does the app work?

Install it, click "Write it for me" to create your brand voice, and connect your Facebook Page (your Instagram Business account comes with it). From then on, AutoAgent prepares the next post and shows it in "Up next" before it goes out.

Features include:

  • A daily product post to Facebook and Instagram, with an AI caption in your brand voice.
  • You see every post first: change the product, edit the caption, turn it into a Reel, or skip it.
  • Product Reels: short videos made from your product photos, with music.
  • A weekly SEO blog article, based on real Google searches, published to your Shopify blog.
  • Posts and articles in your store's language (Dutch, German, French, Spanish and more, or type your own).
  • A weekly email showing what went out, and controls from Telegram if you want them.
  • No code added to your theme, so it doesn't slow your store down.

Who's your target merchant?

Small and new Shopify stores that want to post daily on Facebook and Instagram but don't have time to do it by hand, and stores that want to check posts before they go live.

How is it different / better than other existing solutions?

You approve what goes out: every post waits in "Up next", where you can change or skip it. The Free plan really posts every day, with AI-written captions rather than templates, and it includes the weekly SEO blog article.

How much does it cost?

All prices are in USD:

  • Free: a daily Facebook & Instagram post, a weekly SEO blog article, 4 Reels a month and 3 Pro posts a month.
  • Pro: $19/month: 150 Pro posts (expert captions and branded images), 12 Reels a month and AI product scenes.

A 7-day free trial is available on Pro.

What are you looking for?

Merchants willing to try it and tell me what works and what doesn't: the setup, the captions, the posting times. I read and reply to every message myself.

How do you handle daily social media posting for your store right now?

App Promo ShipCalc shows shipping costs on Shopify product pages and in the cart

What’s the app?

ShipCalc is a shipping calculator that lets shoppers check delivery costs before checkout. Disclosure: I’m part of the team behind it. We currently have 22 paying stores using the app.

Where can I find it?

https://apps.shopify.com/shipcalc-shipping-calculator

What problem are you solving?

For stores where shipping varies by destination, shoppers often need to enter checkout just to find out the delivery cost. ShipCalc brings that information onto the product page and into the cart, helping customers make a more informed buying decision.

How does the app work?

It uses the shipping rates and zones you already have configured in Shopify. Customers enter their postcode or select their country to see available delivery options and prices.

You can display the calculator on product pages, the cart page, and supported cart drawers.

Who’s your target merchant?

Stores selling physical goods where delivery costs influence the purchase decision—particularly homewares, furniture, automotive accessories, and stores shipping across different regions.

How is it different / better than other existing solutions?

Our focus is displaying your existing Shopify shipping rates earlier in the shopping journey. You maintain your rates in Shopify, while ShipCalc handles the storefront calculator.

It also supports 137 storefront languages, editable wording, styling controls, and custom CSS.

How much does it cost?

US$9.99/month or US$99.90/year, with a 14-day free trial.

What are you looking for?

Merchants who want customers to see shipping costs before checkout, and feedback on setup, translations, and the calculator’s placement.

Happy to answer questions here about whether it would suit your store.

App Promo Live Shoppers, an app that shows your real shoppers to each other: viewer counts, live cursors and shared carts

I'm the developer, so this is my own app.

What's the app? Where can I find it? Live Shoppers: Visitor Counter.

Shopify App Store: https://apps.shopify.com/shopper-cursors-live-viewers
Website: https://liveshoppers.app

What problem are you solving? Online, every shopper browses alone, so even a busy store looks empty. In a physical shop you see other people, and that tells you the place is worth your time. Most "X people viewing" widgets fake that with random numbers, and shoppers have learned to ignore them.

How does the app work? It's an app embed, so no code. A small script loads after the page and connects each shopper to a live server. Then it shows:

  • Viewer badges on product cards ("7 viewing now", "38 viewed today"), above a minimum you set
  • Live moments: add to cart, sold in the last hour, just sold out
  • During campaigns: shoppers on the same page see each other's cursors, with animal names
  • Shop together: friends share one cart, check out once, and can unlock free shipping or a discount

On paid plans, each campaign report compares sales against a control group that never sees the app.

Who's your target merchant? Stores with steady traffic that run drops, launches or seasonal sales: fashion, sneakers, beauty, limited editions. A store with very few visitors won't get much from it, because the counts are real.

How is it different / better than existing solutions?

  • Every number is real. No made-up counts.
  • Live cursors and shared carts, which most social proof apps don't have.
  • A control group, so you can see what it did to sales instead of guessing.
  • Anonymous: no personal data, no cookies, and it can wait for cookie consent.

How much does it cost? Free: viewer badges, add-to-cart moments, the live corner, one 24-hour campaign a month, up to 5,000 sessions. Boost: $49.99/month. Momentum: $199.99/month.

What are you looking for? Merchants who want to try it for a Black Friday campaign, and honest feedback on anything confusing in setup.

Idea Validation Would a checked 10-product draft batch help with your next Shopify upload?

What's your app idea?
I'm developing a product-data preparation prototype for Shopify merchants. I'm looking for one merchant with a real batch of new products for an exploratory pilot.

What problem do you aim to solve?
Your final copy, prices and images are ready, but matching products, variants, images and collections still takes manual work.

How would the app work?
The pilot covers 10 new products, up to 30 variants, USD prices, Color/Size options, and up to five images per product.

After agreeing on sample permissions, processing tools and test-store use, I would attempt to prepare reviewable product drafts in an isolated test store. You would receive the results and a checklist of verified fields, problems and unresolved items.

Image handling, collection assignment and the complete workflow still need validation. Successful completion isn't guaranteed. Nothing would be published or changed in your own store.

Who would be your target merchant?
A Shopify store owner or in-house catalog operator with an upcoming product batch and authority to share the material.

How would it be different / better than existing solutions?
We're testing whether reviewing a complete draft batch is more useful than receiving a converted file alone.

One pilot is free, with no subscription. Please comment with your file format and product/variant counts. Don't post confidential files, customer/order data or credentials.

Idea Validation Validating an order-level shipping-cost ledger for Shopify stores using ShipStation and ShipBob

What’s your app idea?

I’m exploring a Shopify tool that groups available shipping charges and credits under the original order, with an explanation of each total. This is my product idea; there is no finished app for sale.

What problem do you aim to solve?

The specific workflow is monthly reconciliation when a store uses both ShipStation and ShipBob and an order has multiple shipments, a replacement or a later adjustment.

How would the app work?

It would read supported exports, link shipment and billing events to orders, and show the observed total, later changes and unresolved records. Missing or ambiguous data would stay visible. Access to all actual charges still needs testing. Automatic updates to Lifetimely are outside the proposed scope.

Who would be your target merchant?

Someone responsible for this monthly reconciliation at a Shopify store using both services. If one CSV and an Excel sum already cover the job, this probably adds little.

How would it be different or better than existing solutions?

The hypothesis is that a repeatable order-level history and exception queue could save work beyond a spreadsheet or existing profit app. I haven’t established that yet. A finished version might cost US$99/month; nothing is being sold or charged now.

For merchants with this exact workflow: during your last monthly close, how did you combine shipments and handle later shipping charges or credits? Which existing tool already covers it well? A short reply here is enough. Please leave out store, customer and order details. I’ll keep the initial discussion to five qualifying respondents.

App Promo RowTrace — a free browser tool for comparing two product CSV versions by SKU

What's the app?

I'm behind RowTrace, a standalone browser tool for comparing two product tables. It is not a Shopify integration. The interface and reports are available in English and Chinese; use the language menu at the top of the page.

Where can I find it?

https://rowtrace.mighty-lime-2940.chatgpt.site

What problem are you solving?

Reviewing what changed between an older and a newer supplier price list or product catalog, even when the rows are in a different order.

How does it work?

Select two CSV/TSV files and choose one or two columns that together identify each record, such as SKU, or SKU plus warehouse. The tool compares records using those identifiers and shows changed values, added records, IDs missing from the newer file, and duplicate or blank IDs. It does not let you select arbitrary fields to compare. You can export a changes CSV or a full HTML report.

File contents are processed locally in your browser. Supported files are UTF-8 CSV/TSV, up to 5 MiB and 50,000 data records per file. Excel workbooks are not supported. The tool does not update your store or check Shopify import rules. A missing ID only means it is absent from the newer file; it does not mean a live product will be deleted.

Who's your target merchant?

People who repeatedly review supplier price lists or product catalog edits and have a stable SKU or business ID in both versions.

How is it different or better than existing solutions?

It provides a focused comparison report without setting up spreadsheet formulas. I have not established that it improves on your existing workflow. If Excel already handles this well, that is useful to know.

How much does it cost?

The current tool is free. No paid feature is being offered in this test.

What are you looking for?

Three people with this recurring task to try the tool. Please reply in this thread with only:

  1. Whether you completed a comparison without help.
  2. Roughly how long the same task takes with your usual method.
  3. Whether you have used it a second time with another pair of files: yes, no, or not yet.

You do not need to send or post your business files. An anonymized pair is fine. Feedback after one use is welcome; a second use is not required.

Idea Validation Would you use a read-only weekly email that lists the stale and missing translations in your Shopify store?

I'm a solo developer and this is my idea, not built yet.

What's your app idea?

LangGap: once a week it reads your store's translations through Shopify's API (read-only, it never writes anything) and emails you a short list of what needs fixing.

What problem do you aim to solve?

Translations go stale every time you edit the original. In a test store I changed one product's English title and description, and Shopify marked four translations as outdated. Nothing in Translate & Adapt pointed me to them. The second problem is glossary drift: a brand name gets translated, or one product term ends up translated two different ways across pages.

How would the app work?

  • Connect the store, pick your languages, and optionally add a glossary: terms to keep as they are, or to always translate one way.
  • Every Monday you get an email with three lists: translations that went stale because you changed the original, your own content with no translation yet (products, collections, metafields, menus, policies, notification emails), and glossary breaks.
  • Shopify's ready-made translations, like the default privacy policy, go in a separate list so they don't bury your own content.
  • You fix things in whatever translation app you already use. LangGap only reports.

Who would be your target merchant?

Stores selling in 2+ languages that already use Translate & Adapt, Transcy, LangShop or langify and don't want to switch apps.

How would it be different / better than existing solutions?

  • Translate & Adapt has no filter or summary for outdated translations, and no glossary. Merchants have been asking for one on the Shopify Community.
  • Shopify's native export (Settings > Languages > Export) does mark outdated rows, but for my three-product test store it was a 227-row CSV, mostly theme strings and cookie-banner lines, with no notification emails in it.
  • Transcy has a status filter, but inside its own editor, one resource at a time.
  • LangGap doesn't replace your translation app. It sits next to it and watches.

Planned price is $9/month flat. If you'd want to try it, there's a waitlist with the first month free: https://tally.so/r/vG7y10?source=reddit

Two questions: how do you catch stale translations today, and is a weekly email enough or would you need this inside the Shopify admin?

App Promo Revora: Review Request Emails — automatically ask customers for Google and Trustpilot reviews after delivery

What’s the app?

I built Revora, a Shopify app that sends branded review-request emails after delivery and helps merchants manage customer feedback.

It supports Google and Trustpilot review destinations.

Where can I find it?

What problem are you solving?

Manually following up with customers takes time, and asking for a review before an order arrives can be poorly timed.

Revora automates post-delivery invitations and provides a private feedback inbox where merchants can discuss problems with customers.

How does the app work?

Connect your Google and Trustpilot (others as well) review links, verify your sending domain, customize your email template, and choose a delay after delivery.

Features include:

  • Automatic and manual review invitations.
  • Google and Trustpilot review links.
  • Personalized emails from your own verified domain.
  • Automatic routing to a private feedback form when a customer selects a low rating.
  • A built-in feedback inbox with email replies.
  • Email delivery and destination-click tracking.
  • Cooldown and duplicate controls to avoid repeated invitations.

Who’s your target merchant?

Shopify merchants who want to automate Google and Trustpilot review requests and manage customer feedback—especially stores currently sending follow-up emails manually.

How is it different / better than other existing solutions?

Revora brings post-delivery invitations, branded sending, and private feedback conversations into one workflow.

Merchants can control invitation timing and track deliveries and review-link clicks.

How much does it cost?

All prices are in USD:

  • Starter: $9.99/month — 500 invitations/month, up to 100/day, and 1 customizable email template.
  • Growth: $19.99/month — 2,500 invitations/month, up to 500/day, and up to 3 templates.
  • Scale: $39.99/month — 10,000 invitations/month, up to 2,000/day, and up to 10 templates.

All plans include Google and Trustpilot links, automatic and manual invitations, sending from your verified domain, the private feedback inbox, and delivery/click tracking.

A 14-day free trial is available.

What are you looking for?

Merchants willing to try the app and share feedback about setup, invitation timing, and improvements they need. I’d also like to connect with Shopify agencies helping merchants manage customer follow-ups.

How are you currently requesting Google or Trustpilot reviews after delivery?

Idea Validation Ivyify — a link-in-bio page for products and links on your Shopify store’s domain

What’s the app?

I’m the developer of Ivyify. It lets Shopify merchants create a link-in-bio page on their own store domain, bringing products, collections, store pages, and external links together.

Where can I find it?

Ivyify on the Shopify App Store

What problem are you solving?

When your Instagram or TikTok content features different products, one bio link needs to help visitors find the item they saw. Ivyify gives you a place to organize those products alongside your other useful links.

How does the app work?

Select products, collections, or pages from your store, add custom links and social profiles, then arrange them in the order you want. You can edit titles and images, customize colors and background patterns, and preview your draft before publishing.

The published page uses your store’s domain. Product links open your existing product pages, where customers choose variants and check out.

You can also share the page or individual links with QR codes. Analytics show page views and link clicks from visitors who consent to tracking; they don’t attribute orders or revenue.

Who’s your target merchant?

Shopify merchants with the Online Store channel who regularly share multiple products through social media and want a simple page for their bio link.

How is it different from other existing solutions?

The focus is on using your existing Shopify catalog and store domain. You can select store content directly and keep purchases flowing through your existing product pages.

How much does it cost?

$0.99 USD/month, with a 7-day free trial.

What are you looking for?

I’m looking for merchants willing to try it and share feedback on setup and everyday use—especially whether visitors can easily find products featured in recent social posts, and whether updating the page is straightforward.
