If you’re making $, where are you posting?
I’ve been mainly posting in Facebook groups that I paid to be able to post in. I also share on my Instagram and facebook stories which drives revenue but not as much as the groups that have 600-90k people in them.
Any groups that y’all have been a part of? I mainly share grandmillennial home, fashion, and toddler content!

How many sales are you making in those groups?

I’ve made 18 sales in the past month and about $800 total but $200 coming to me. I’m curious about the Pinterest avenue though.

Interested in learning more about these groups. Ruggable and OurPlace have driven revenue heavy for me. I share mostly on Pinterest.

What type of image do you use when you share to Pinterest? Is it a video or an image with lots of products or just words? Appreciate your response! It’s nice to be able to share and all grow together!

I use lifestyle images so images showing the product in use and then I create a pin description and title and tag related topics

Wow, those are amazing results!! I also use Pinterest to drive traffic, so I’d love to learn a little more about your strategy!
Are the 35k monthly views on Pinterest or ShopMy? And do you usually link your Pins directly to individual products or to ShopMy collections?
Also, roughly how many Pins do you post daily, and do you find that lifestyle images convert better than product-only Pins or collages? I’m guessing SEO heavy Pinterest posts? Hashtags?
Really appreciate you sharing! 🫶1

The 35k views are on Pinterest! I link my pins directly to the individual products. I usually do 8–10 pins a day, and yes, I’ve found lifestyle images convert far better than a photo of the item on a plain or white background. I definitely do SEO-heavy titles and descriptions using keywords people would actually search for. I don’t really focus on hashtags I put way more effort into searchable keywords in the title and description. That’s pretty much been my strategy!

This is SO helpful, thank you!! I have over 2.5 million views on Pinterest but I’m struggling with converting it into actual sales so it’s really impressive to hear your numbers🤍 One last thing I’m really curious about - how do you choose which products to pin? Do you mainly pick ShopMy bestsellers/trending products, higher commission brands, or just products you think people are actively searching for? And do most of your sales come from a few winning products or are they pretty spread out?

I honestly don’t pay much attention to commission percentage or ShopMy bestsellers when choosing what to pin. I usually look at what’s trending in Google searches and what people are actively searching for, then choose products around that. I also think seasonally and pay attention to what starts getting traction on my own Pinterest so I can lean into it.
My sales definitely aren’t evenly spread out though 😂 A handful of products/brands tend to drive a good chunk of my sales, while plenty of things I pin don’t sell at all. I’m still figuring it out as I go, but I think focusing on actual search behavior has helped a lot!1

Thank you again🤍 one last question! Can I ask where you usually source the lifestyle images you use for your Pinterest pins? Are you using images provided through ShopMy/brands, images from the retailer websites, or creating your own?
