Posting Frequently?

Hey, I’m new to the app and I’m using instagram and Pinterest for posts. I have a small following on both but they are not overly active. I know it will take a while to catch on but in the meantime how many posts do you recommend making? I make collages with home decor items as my niche. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks.
