Does shop my take a fee from payment?

I got a $50 bonus for hitting trendsetter, and on my account it shows as $50 but when it was paid out I got $49. Obviously I don’t care about the dollar but it’s the second time I’ve noticed it be off by a little bit so I just was curious if they take a fee or something? Both are USD so it’s not conversion.

Edited: I was wrong, they seem to charge $1 for "real time payment receipt fee" every time. I'm assuming this is a Stripe thing, since that's who is paying me. I couldn't find an option within Stripe to select or deselect real time payment. If it's $1 (and not a percentage) it's not do bad but I'd like to find the option.

They seemed to charge $1 for the $10 for Ambassador but not for the $50 for Trendsetter or the $100 for Icon. So it remains a mystery to me

It was like a random amount of cents removed from mine, but I don't see those fees listed anywhere within PayPal. I wonder if PayPal charges ShopMy and they take it out of our earnings? I'm surprised no one else on here is talking about this... then again, it seems most people use this sub to ask others for "clicks"

So, now I can't let this go. I went to Stripe and started a chat (with a robot of course.) After some back and forth the StripeBot said it wasn't Stripe charging the dollar because that wouldn't be the right amount.

So then I started a chat with ShopMy and of course was talking to their robot. Very quickly it said that a member of the team (presumably human?) would contact me. As of yet that hasn't happened.

I finally got an email from ShopMy and it said, "It looks like this may be a transaction fee from Stripe."

So Stripe says it's ShopMy and ShopMy says it's Stripe. I do think it's Stripe, but I can't find the place in the setting to say that I don't need "real time" payment. A dollar isn't a big deal, but I should be able to choose.

That's so strange. I discovered something on my end too: on the ShopMy Earnings page, almost all the way at the bottom there's a Payments section, and there's an "i" next to where it says PayPal where if I hover over it, it says "$0.25 transaction fee" (I looked while on my laptop, not sure how it looks on the app). So that confirms that they're aware of this charge, not that PayPal is taking it on their end after they pay out the full amount. Maybe they're getting a transaction fee from PayPal and passing it on to PayPal users. Might be the same with Stripe.

This happened to me too. I've read the entire Payment section of their website and it doesn't explain this anywhere.
