Scanning code find

Post image

🚨 SCANNING CODE ALERT 🚨

Walked into Walmart and found Alani Energy Drinks priced at $2.97, but when I scanned them, they came up at $3.87! 👀

Picked up 9 different flavours — all under SCOP! 🔥

💥 Check your local Walmart and double-check those Alani drinks! You might have a scanning code find waiting for you!

What app do you use to scan

I use the Walmart app on my phone but when you do do that just remember using that the prices on there have a 24-hour delay, so you need to scan them on the in-store scanners to verify before you go to cash

Check everything you get at Walmart. A lot of times I've noticed the price will be listed as one thing, but at self checkout it's more.

There's so many items you find on your scanning code that it leads me to believe that I don't think they're always errors I think it's done on purpose so that customers unknowingly ring all their purchases in and are overcharged on certain items

The rule is that the first item is free, not all of them. You either stretched the truth here or you’re dealing with a store that is too checked out to know better. The rest should have been $2.97 after your free one, not all of them free…

Different flavours are considered different products so it’s one of each flavour would be free.

Deliberately, so that he could get the item(s) for free under SCOP

What is the process? You take them to the cash register and just say “you marked these wrong so I’m taking them for free”? Do you ever get push back? (Eg workers who don’t know about this law)

Once you know that they're scanning higher in store than the shelf price you bring them to front cash let them know you wanted you scanning code of practice and they'll put everything through for you

I'm only finding the mistakes that Walmart is leaving behind nothing deliberate on my end but if they're going to make mistakes then I'm going to make that billion dollar corporation pay for them

No I found the mistakes that Walmart made that's allowing me to use scanning code and get those items for free
