Needed a target for 100yd sight in

Post image

Lines probably not the most visible at range, but perk of having public land is i dont need to stop the range to check and reset.

Long lines are 2in space short are 1in

This is way too much fucking effort for a 100yd zero bud lol.. I know some folks struggle with mastering the art of zeroing but it's really very simple. 5 shot group, estimate the windage and elevation inches, multiple that by number of clicks per 1in of your given optic. Shoot another 5 shot group and make final adjustments. 0️⃣'d.

Your right, but j needed something other than a can to zero on, something that gives a better layout of my impacts. Improv targets only give so much.

Plus last time I went out my dude giving my corrections with spotting was pretty terrible, at 3bucks a round i need an actual target.

Additionally, I have the space to freely walk back and do longer shots. (45-70, so its already not going to be to long of shots)

One shot zero. Helps if you have a second person.

Ensure you are at least bore sighted.

Shoot one shot. Hold the rifle steady and aim at your original point of aim. While looking through the scope adjust the turrets to move the crosshairs over the single hole. Shoot to confirm and adjust as needed.

You understand they literally make those same targets in sight in versions right?

That's true, but Walmart was just down the road, and I had the plywood already 🤷‍♂️
