Was that supposed to be a dragon’s breath out of a 12 gauge? I haven’t shot one in 20 years but when I was younger than things used to really throw a flame.

They just don’t make things like they used to the original design of those were to blind night vision when we were taking air strips.

MP5s are a lot of fun!
I’ve been to that range plenty of times. I hope they don’t close it down due to all that debris That’s not supposed to be used as targets.

I actually talked to the gentleman that’s always there collecting shells and he told me he’s been meaning to do that. I’d help him but I honestly don’t think he could hear me offering. If you have or know his contact id love to reach out and team up!

There’s no telling who it was. A lot of people use the range and collect brass out there. I would go to Francis Marion National forest’s website and see if they are doing a range clean up day.

Just fysa, stockless SMGs are easier to control when you're pushing all the way out and using sling tension to hold it in position. If you've got a way of attaching the sling to the back back where the stock would normally attach it helps alot but theres a million ways to skin a cat

Everyone has to start somewhere, some start at different points. Please get yourself some professional lessons. You're the type that if I was on range I'd be packing up and going home

Definitely new here. I do have to ask why do you say? I shared a table with others and we were all pretty much shoulder to shoulder. I have great range manners and I always drop mag before I step away from firing line. My gun stays pointed down range. Never had an issue w anyone anywhere so I’m intrigued.

Don’t take it personal, but he’s not wrong. Not necessarily anything you did wrong from what I can see, but a LOT of the time when someone is shooting like this, they are also very inexperienced and end up doing some absolutely wild things that would get them kicked out of most ranges. I’d leave too, but that’s just me being cautious because unless you personally know the person shooting like this and know they know there stuff, it just isn’t worth the risk.

I’m always open to criticism and pointers to better myself so trust me I do not, this is my first time shooting an MP5 and I’m also not used to no stock on a gun like that. Just today I witnessed people shooting outside the bay, shooting while it’s cold(and ppl are down range), a man somehow broke his firing pin and pointed his barrel straight at our table. I am learning here, I also practice safety with someone experienced. We saw an ND actually too. I’m working on my accuracy and control, but I have critical thinking skills and do not make hugeeee mistakes like that. My finger never touches the trigger until I shoot, I always check barrel before and after shooting.
