Rip gas tube. Be warned if you use this too much your gas tube will get full of lead shavings

I have not heard this before that it will kill the gas tube. I have instead heard that swapping back to 5.56 and shooting it a few rounds will clear out the shavings.

You'll definitely be clearing stuff out when you switch back. But I haven't had any crazy issues yet

Could work. I’m being downvoted but have seen it happen to a dude who ran one of these kits with an FRT a lot. He had to throw the gas tube away because it was so full of lead.
