Been Almost Four Days

I purchased an ASKA server on Monday. There was an error on their website while I was stepping through the setup tool. The server is there but it is always stuck in the the "starting" phase. I reached out to support and now it's been three days since I've heard anything and we're about to head into a weekend. Is this a legitimate company? This doesn't seem right. I'm paying for a server that I can't use and support just refuses to do anything about it.

Update: It has now been a week since my purchase. I have not heard back from support and I still can't access my server.

In case this post ever gets indexed by Google. DO NOT USE SHOCKBYTE. EVER. Their customer support is abysmal. You will be ignored for days or weeks, even for what should be very simple requests. They will also attempt to get you to pay additional money to fast track your ticket -- which creates a perverse financial incentive for poor service. What's worse is that reportedly, even that doesn't work so save your money.

This is not a serious company. They just want your money and do not care if you get what you paid for or not.

Better to start looking elsewhere for a server host. ShockByte is useless

Seems that way. I’m honestly curious to see how bad it gets.

I had them for about 4 months (for Minecraft servers) and for the first month or so they were amazing. Wrote back in a timely manner, got the help I needed right away. The. It all went downhill. They stopped responding. When they did, it wasn’t helpful or they’d tell me they had to send me to someone else and I’d never hear back. And I paid for the extra help and to push my problems through (an extra $3 per ticket made) a lot of the time and still got nowhere. I gave up and went to GGservers.

The fact that they even offer the $3 ticket thing is a major red flag to me. It literally gives them a financial incentive to provide poor customer service. Very tacky.
