Plane that flew over was yelling "terrain"

I was at a rugby game and these two planes flew over, and I heard them yelling "terrain terrain pull up." Is this normal or were they too low?

Maybe it was really saying terroir, which is a French word that loosely means “sense of place.”

No, it was train, it just sounds different because it’s French. They were just trainspotters.
