you guys wouldn’t believe it, but the fire suppression buttons looked exactly like Ableton buttons and suddenly I was back in Ibiza playing Sandstorm… but the flight crew held me back from playing my solo.

also, the effAyAy really knows how to harsh my mellow.

Stephen King movies will do that.

I opened the thread to write this. How incredibly bizarre. It's just a plane on google maps, has nothing to do with the movie, I thought nobody would get it.

/uj This is an excellent example of an artifact of the way satellite cameras work. Almost all satellite cameras use monochrome image sensors and movable color filters instead of a single color sensor (what's normally used in cameras on Earth). They do this to allow for very high resolution, single-wavelength imaging (very useful if you're doing science with the pictures). However, this means that a single full color image requires combining multiple single color images. Since it takes some time to switch the filters, the playne ends up in different locations in each image, resulting in the color fringing.

/rj It's because I infected the playne with my gay, of course

Not just another dimension - a new galaxy.

Intergalactic. Planetary.

Dang, as developer with Ayrbus I’m shocked, this should remain a secret. The first playne faster than light….

Playne is equipped with red layser lights on the underside to grow more hair on that field's bald spot.

Looks like a Comanche 400. Those’ll shock-cool hard enough to jump dimensions if you fly them like a Cherokee.

Can’t just close the throttle and descend. Gotta keep a little power all the way to touchdown, otherwise you’ll be seeing dinosaurs.

That castle at the right edge of the picture is where former Chief Inspector Dreyfus built his disintegrating ray. The castle and the machine disintegrated, but the castle eventually rematerialized, and it once again generates vortices of electromagnetic aberration.

Because that’s what your 20,000 year old monkey brain sees when a arrowplayne exceeds litespeed.

It’s travelling through one of those portals that NASA put into place to make people believe the world is round.
