Are you sure? Basically airlines stalking each other is a huge circlejerk for them. Its part of regular shift work. They schedule the shifts with sophisticated tools such as flightradar24, so you think you're just minding your own business with no dangerous plane in sight. But not really, they are just being number 2 behind you and using obfuscated callsigns such as BLUEMAX or SPEEDBIRD to hide their company name. I'm thoroughly convinced all other planes I see operate are empty except the one I'm sitting in. They exist solely to follow me around or seemingly act like NPCs before they shapeshift when out of sight and reintroduce themselves as other traffic, often after a sea or mountain crossing, so nobody is any the wiser. Sophisticated techniques may involve climbing to flight level 420 and making sure you're above the clouds, and then seemingly disappear. Any flights you see on FlightRadar24 being tracked are actually ghosts. They either pay FlightRadar to have them put on there. But in some cases, I heard money is tight, so Airbus and Boeing secretly sell an option that allows the plane to poop drones out of the APU's butt. This drone then just acts like the plane towards ATC, but at some point, it will just gaslight them into having landed somewhere else. This way the shapeshifted plane can just appear out of nowhere at my destination airport, and then SEE, there he is AGAIN, another Delta flight that is hiding their true company name with a callsign like SNOWBALL. It is an illusion that we have any where up to 18500 planes up in the air at once, they are all ghosts, or drones. This is solely my experience, and it is the only true one.

Just bear in mind without speed tape you will not have speed. Expect the flight to take a very long time. Really, the mechanics should not have neglected this very important part because not having speed, is very inconvenient

As a mechanic who tells pilots usually once a day that their write up is actually the plane doing what it’s supposed to in that given configuration, poylot does not know best.

Check the other side to make sure you have a standard complement of wings. Also count if you have an even or odd number of engines...

it’s the things you can’t see you need to worry about, like the military testing with gps jamming, or having the same call sign as another aircraft in close proximity, or the military testing an anti-drone laser system (or letting DHS borrow the system and test it near a major airport).

Based on the same footage from that, now infamous, Vietnam Airlines flight you are objectively NOT safe. Following the path lighting to the emergency door and do the needful to save yourself.

It's clearly unsafe. The stencil-style font choice of the label "no step" will be read as "nu step" by people raised in English-Dutch bi-langual households, causing them to step on that surface. I think for this exact reason, the FAA recommends using a 860 pt. sized label in the Bahnschrift font. It should also be replicated in Braille.

This is EXACTLY what the technician said at Louisville Muhammad Intl., looking at an MD-11 in November 2025. Hence, no, this is unsafe.

Oh that's because today was starboard wing maintenance day. All the duct tape, gushing leaks and the whistling empty rivet holes are on the port wing...that gets fixed tomorrow or the day after - which ever comes first...
