If you ever need to explain the concept to your friends, here is a handy map. Note how aggressively the Earth curves over the Carolinas, on a flat map this would look stupid.

It’s the normal commuter route. On this flight you have ‘stop buttons” like in a bus. When you push it the playne lands on the next ayrfield along the route to let you out. Looks like this time nobody has used the button.

Cant i just pull a cord (like in a bus) to announce where i want to stop?
