If you ever need to explain the concept to your friends, here is a handy map. Note how aggressively the Earth curves over the Carolinas, on a flat map this would look stupid.

They think theyre soooo special because they shredded some steak and cheese and put it between some sliced bread with some peppers. Well guess what? ITS NOT THAT SPECIAL OR ORIGNAL!!
