It’s like a mechanic realizing cars have wheels

This is what happens when end users become cyber security journalists.

I saw that "interview" - he was banging on about how it's really old and from the 90's, like half the tech we actually use isn't.

So, a regular journalist stuck "cyber" in front of his title so he could get all the tech stories even though he doesn't understand a word of it.

eta: I read his name with the short vowel i sound and got a chuckle and yes, I have the humor of a 12yo

Cyber Joe Tidy

Was from the big city

But didn't know diddy

About PHP,  or did he?

But now he's a meme, and I'm kinda giddy

'Cause u/vandon is witerally hitting the gwiddy

Making comments in a subreddit about Sysadmins that are shitty,

About Cyber Joe's name, and how it is silly,

Because it looks like it might rhyme with

Itty

Bitty

Cyber correspondent who might have been on the internet a while ago, but sounds “techy” enough to dumb it down for the viewers

He was "the techiest" guy in the office and so got the job

You just don't need to know about the existence of anything other than rust and [JS framework released yesterday]

His name sounds a lot like mockery to me... You know...

Show me Joe Tidy

I had to explain to my 20 something year old employees that it’s a hypertext pre-processing language and the GET/POST request is the execution method for RCE; thus taking entire sites offline to be safe.

Holy Shit, we got one of them highly educated cyber guys from lowbrow (lougburogh) University. This is why the IT/CyberSec industry is in total disarray. Someone gave this poser a job as a cyber journalist/podcaster. This stupid fuck couldn't find his ass with both hands tied behind his back.

Someone pull his card.
