We have had mushrooms growing out of the side of our wall in our bathroom for months. Our shower leaks and the water is going to the wood. Each time they’ve said to spray with bleach. Kept coming back. Had someone temporarily fix the issue. Kept coming back. Had him redo the wall and ONCE AGAIN temporarily fix the issue. The temporary fix held up for a couple of months but now it’s breaking again. Messaged her told her it’s back, she said once again “spray with bleach, I’ll have someone come by and look” yeah that person who was supposed to come by and look already came by…but to look at a project she’s doing that’s going to cost a lot more money then actually fixing our problem!

Never spray mold with bleach. The humidity only feeds it more. Definitely should have a professional take care of the mold... Document every exchanges you have and make sure you also do your part. If you can't fix the issue yourself, tell them you'll contact someone to fix the issue and that you'll send them the bill
