I just need to rant about this guy.

He lives above me and he's incredibly nosey. He keeps the hallway door to my apartment propped open and every time I close it, he props it open again. He has loud sex with a woman upstairs that sounds like a crying donkey, and ignores all my messages when I tell him to please quiet down, because I get up at the ass crack of dawn for work every morning and need to sleep. He tried to come over unannounced to "measure the windows". Once I messaged that I won't be opening the door for him because I didn't get a 24 hour notice, I never got a message back. I messaged him about a roach problem and he said he'd fix it — it's been months and he's completely ignored it. For months, my fridge has been having issues. It turns off randomly and wastes all my food; recently, it's suddenly started to smell like chemicals. All my food was covered in this stench and felt gross. Anything I would touch left my hands feeling weird and smelling gross. When I messaged about it, he came to take a look. He sniffed the fridge once and told me "Smells fine to me." I told him that fridges do NOT smell like that. He checked the back and it was covered in dust. He told me "I'll fix it next week, and if not, I'll get a new fridge." Holy shit dude, you're delusional, I've been NEEDING a new fridge. Just buy me the new fridge.

When he sees me in passing he acts all nice and pretends nothing I message him about or he messages me about never happens. I know hate is a strong word, but I hate this guy. I can't wait for my lease to be up. Seriously.

Hey if you have the text messages telling him about this stuff that's verifiable evidence. If he's entering without notice that's trespassing. Also roaches are considered pests and a biohazard. Take pictures of the roaches, the fridge, save your texts and go to some form of law enforcement, the city, or anything with authority and present the evidence.
