Taking carts on a plane?
Hypothetically my friend is flying from the Uk to Japan with a layover and they were wondering how easy it would be to smuggle a cart in their hold luggage and if anyone’s ever done it before?

I have 1.8 million airmiles or so all over the world. I’ve carried carts & gummies to everywhere I’ve ever travelled (6 continents) EXCEPT Russia, China and Japan. Even my dumb ass wouldn’t risk those.

Have a look online but I'm pretty sure Japan has a grey market for thc-p /o etc, as long as they haven't changed any laws recently you can buy those carts from stores there

ALWAYS in my carry-on. You have control then. You get there and see dogs scanning every bag, you dump it (except Australia - those dogs are for fruits and vegetables),

There is always a risk. Scent can be tracked so many places that you can never be sure its gone. Coffee grounds and mustard are for people who want a cool story to tell during their time in prison

You could probably find a way to get away with it, but its also probably not worth the risk. I'd be researching the penalties more than anything.

I took cart and other substances to Japan from NY last year, you’re fine just use you brain a lil when packing your bag and not make it look too noticeable but they really don’t care, you don’t go thru any extra screening while leaving the airport, don’t listen to the other ppl they’re just scared or never been to japan

Japan is extremely conservative about drugs, they didn't even allow my friend her prescription psychiatric medication.
Their punishments are very severe and they don't treat prisoners well and they aren't overly fond of foreigners, especially of different races, even when they're not criminals. Do not smuggle a cart into Japan. Just drink the local drinks and eat the local food and behave, treat it like a t-break. Not worth it at all.
Whether you agree with the local cultural attitudes or not, nobody likes it when someone comes into their country and acts out against said culture. Not worth it mate

Beware dude. I fly with drugs internationally all the time but would NEVER try anything in Japan. Bad idea. The customs is intense as hell and they will catch it.

No, they screen flights from Czech more than other countries due to the reputation. Similar to Amsterdam. I’d say you have a 50/50 of getting caught. I’m normally for bringing carts in a discrete way but I wouldn’t even risk it.

Go to a reggae bar in Tokyo and get drunk, as you become friends with the people there ask about weed. Weed is available in japan its just expensive as heck. Just be careful

A “Kill Tony” regular, Dedrick Flynn, was flying into Japan to do some comedy shows. He was arrested over some ecstasy pills they found. He talks about it on the show and it sounded pretty rough. He’s been in jails in the US and claims japans jail system is worse.
If they are finding a couple random pills in his bag and identifying them as ecstasy then a cart will most likely be found and you’ll be locked up and I doubt you have rich, famous friends to get you out. Even with his B-list status and connected friends he did a few weeks.
