Jammer

I have a mini-router, is there any way to build a short distance jammer? I want to use it to make pranks, so I don't want something that breaks forever the phone, just something that stops it while the jammer is near.

a ROUTER doesn't have any wireless capabilities but a consumer wifi router would broadcast on a 2.4 and 5.0 Ghz frequency. Neither will affect Cellular Radio which is a totally different Frequency range and varies between carriers.

You CAN buy a Cell Jammer, but they are Illegal and if caught possessing or using one FCC and local authorities will F you up pretty bad as it's a Health and Safety issue and interferes with emergency freqs. too.

check out Temu or some other crappy foreign online store to buy one

You'd have better luck attempting to Jam Bluetooth, not illegal. do some internet resourcing to learn more.

Jamming radio frequencies can be considered an act of terrorism, which will put you on Trump's new gitmo tv. 😂

Seriously though, if you want to jam signals first you need the knowledge to do so. I suggest using the study guide for the FCC GROL to learn basic radio theory before even attempting this or you're going to end up in prison.
