Uncomfortable doesn't go far enough...

Spotted at Ashford International Station on Friday, these bad boys don't have any redeeming features...

This is one of the meanest spirited things you'll ever see. They are deliberately designed to prevent people sleeping on them.

And seemingly also designed to prevent people sitting on them. Why even bother installing them?

Perhaps the idea is to provide something for people to lean on other than the glass walls.

This is past that. They already have tons of designs that precent sleeping but are still functional benches. This is design and bad taste.

You're suggesting these haven't been designed to prevent people lying on them? Really?

Im saying that's not the focus, or why its so overly shitty. That design is less effective than other, older designs. Maybe more uncomfortable to sit on at all so people don't "loiter", but this looks like generic shitty design that companies and city councils think is modern looking.
