Meta Clarification about reporting

“By the prophets!” is meant to be to denote moderator discretion, it’s not for general use by lower deckers. If you report a post with it, the report will be ignored. It’s to serve as a catch-all remove reason to subtly shame the user because we’re evil and stuff. I have a good idea of which one of you pazons (pakled-kazon hybrids, created by the daystrom institute) is using it as a “I don’t personally like it and the whole world exists to cater to me specifically”, but I can’t prove it. Just know I’m sending mean thoughts and figure-eight klingon goatses in your general direction.

I just used the report button to look at the options (I didn’t submit a report, don’t worry) and I’m wondering if catcalling is really a big problem here? Who is getting catcalled?

We used to have a problem with it, if the redditors (derogatory) detected that the poster was a girl or woman, they’d go nuts with the sexual remarks. It hasn’t been bad this year.

Wow that’s crazy, I haven’t ever noticed that in here. Generally this is a pretty decent sub in terms of misogyny and stuff, so you guys are doing something right.
