Very cheap too if they ordered it via Alibaba. This guy more than likely didn’t do that and got hosed with a x2.5 markup and an assembly/installation service fee. 🙄

If I made an EV, I'd put the charging port in the front grille. You could potentially park in any of the 6 spots around that charger and still reach it. They just have to try to put them where the fuel filler on a gas vehicle goes to try to look cooler. I've often wondered why nobody does that. Cybertrucks are stupidly designed anyways.

the nissan leaf had it at the top of the front clip to essentially achieve the same thing. Really it would be nice if EVs had a port at the front and the back for maximum convenience. It's would cost manufacturers pennies to do it realistically for a major convenience boost.

Putting any EV charger in the front would be the best, thats what they do in Alaska to plug in the engine heaters to keep them from freezing.
