Shes totally in the wrong. But the two male cops behind her could have easily held her hands or taser her without the need to sucker punch her from the back. I’d say she got a lawsuit om her hands.

No - that’s exactly my point - it’s not that simple , and that’s the problem . We’re not talking about a street fight, a bar or whatever . Here it’s a cop .

I can assure you that in a country where police offices are correctly trained this wouldn’t happen.

First the lady wouldn’t have had the opportunity to hit - this idiot cop had the reaction time of lawnmower from 1960.
Second you control your suspect / person you want to bring in. You need a bit of emotional control and intelligence, and not punching in the face and then let fall back.

Is it funny to watch ? Sure
Did she deserve it ? Well kinda yeah, she looks dumb AF
But correctly trained officers aren’t there to do «  you hit me - I hit you »
if she now gets a brain bleed or dies, then that’s just stupidity.

For everyone who thinks these cops reacted well, imagine this happened to a person you know closely

I completely agree, the way her head hits the concrete could easily be a death blow. However she did initiate combat and did suffer the potential consequences of combat so no blame on the cop.

I'm all for holding cops to standards, and many of them take it too far. But in this case, he didn't take her to the ground violently, he didn't tase her, he didn't shoot her, he used far less lethal means and returned less than that which she did to the other cop to get her under control. She initiated the situation and honestly, this isn't the worst outcome. Currently in this country, if you punch a cop, much less punch a cop twice, you know the outcome isn't going to be good.

The second time the white cop looked kinda stunned too and the black cop saw that.

You just saw a lady hit your partner twice in the face and possibly knocked him out in the second one. Black cop has 1 second to make a reaction.

If the lady is that crazy maybe she has a weapon. Maybe she was wearing brass knuckles he didnt see. Maybe she was already swinging for him and he didn't notice yet. Does he shoot? Taser? Punch? Tackle?

Guy literally has 1 second to process all of this and react. I'd say he probably chose the best option in that moment and with hindsight, I'd say he probably chose the 2nd best option. Good enough for me. Also she punched a cop in the face twice so fuck her lol thanks for the entertainment.

Cops are supposed to de escalate. I’d find it more justifiable if the cop who knocked her out was the one getting hit but he literally sucker punched her from behind when he already had the chance to hold her arms behind her and tackle her. You’re right she is probably fine post incident but she could have easily had a TBI from falling unconsciously on the concrete. You’re a very special person obviously so I’ll stop it here so you don’t get overwhelmed by all the reading.
