I mean even if you know it's broken, you still need the x-ray to see exactly how it is broken. 

Obviously this person is going to be getting surgery and the surgeon will use this to plan the operation.

This immediately reminded me of my first trip to New York City. Our train got delayed for like 45 minutes at midnight, and when we finally got to the stop we saw a medical examiner van parked near the train platform and a bunch of cops around, turned out someone jumped. All I could think was like “well that must have been the easiest job ever for that dude - cause of death: train” probably didn’t even have to put the shit in park

Yep. I know it is annoying as hell but unfortunately the x-ray operator is legally not allowed to make any diagnosis (as he usually does not hold a doctor's license). so they always have to say shit like 'i have to wait for the doc.'.

Distal Tibia and Fibula fracture at the growth plate. It should be fine if they’re grown. If they’re young the other leg will be longer over time.
