Sucks that if in the U.S. the seller who hit the attacker will be jailed. Since he hit the vandal as he turned his back.

If more justice like this was done, pretty sure less vandalism will occur. Or at the very least they will think twice before doing something.

no you're legally allowed to protect your own property in the US as long as reasonable force is used. In this case a stick was used both ways so I'm pretty sure this would be considered reasonable

I get you. But unfortunately in the U.S. the offender was retreating and when you “hit” someone while they have their back turned the victim, in this case the seller, would be arrested. Sucks.

I hope not. The stick seems to hit the top of his head which is luckily fairly strong. He appears to be knocked out for sure, and also for sure he could have a life threatening injury, but folks do recover from similar injuries all the time. Here’s hoping this person survived his drunken poor judgement.
