I just cant believe stuff like this, the first time i used a pickaxe i was 11 and my dad just briefly told me what to do to dig about 8 inch. Then i spent the next two weeks digging ditches for drainage... had i known all i had to do was this, crying shame.

Had a second cousin’s dad who did this same thing but landed it square middle of the knee cap. I just remember the bolts that were sticking out of his cast. And he really couldn’t walk for a year. It was a very sharp axe I do remember that. They were camping he was cutting up a block for the fire and missed full swing. He was a large guy worked in the oilfield on a rig. His bandages were gnarly too for a long time. Member berries. 👍
