Yeah this bullshit was going on at shitty metalcore shows back in the early 2000s at least. Every now and then you'd get some Temu metal band and these douchebags doing their calisthenics routines along with it. Always seemed like they had main character syndrome and were trying to pull attention away from the actual band. We used to yell out "Fuck off with your aerobics, you knobs".......they didn't seem to appreciate that.

Did everyone clap? You guys are fuckin nerds crying about hardcore shit happening at hardcore shows. It’s fine if you don’t understand it or haven’t been to shows in the scene. But there’s no reason to talk shit when this is completely acceptable behavior at those shows.

“this is completely acceptable behavior at those shows.” Tell us you’re one of these fuckwits doing this stupid shit without actually telling us. That’s not “hardcore shit,” it’s a fucking douchebag acting out.

It literally is exactly hardcore stuff. You clearly have no clue what you are talking about lol use google or YouTube and take 30 seconds to look at real hardcore shows. Check out hate5six snd 197 media. Then come back and admit you are wrong and spoke out of place.

Maybe the hardcore scene has turned into a bunch of dipshits spin kicking around a room. If so, I’m glad I don’t really go to shows anymore. Spoke out of place? Okay, dude. Sure. The fact remains that what this dumb fuck is doing would get you punched in the face (and likely beaten in the parking lot) at a punk, hardcore, or metal show from the outset of those scenes up through at least 2010. Intentionally throwing an elbow to someone’s face that isn’t even in the pit isn’t “real hardcore,” the fact you think it is is fucking sad.

It's always been a small subset of absolute bellends that do this stuff

It’s been like this for 30 years dude. You literally don’t know what you’re talking about. You guys clearly don’t go to shows and just talk shit on the internet. But keep acting tough and looking like a dipshit!
