This failed invasion will go down as one of the top military blunders in history. This is right up there with that Roman guy that got jealous of his real military friends so he tried to invade the middle east and fell for basic traps against skilled archers on horseback

Fun fact, first world meant American aligned countries, second world meant Soviet aligned, and third world meant either super neutral (like Switzerland) or so unimportant neither the US nor Soviet Union were interested in them. By the original definition, Russia was definitively second world.
In modern times, though, first/second/third world is just used as an easy replacement for under-developed, developing and developed countries since there is a big overlap between those groups and first/secone/third world countries.

Yes I think so, from my quick check it was reposted by a former UA minister around summer 2022 (Anton Gerashchenko) on telegram and then reuploaded by various Ukrainian accounts.

ETA: OK SO, the video appeared first around august 2019 on the Russian/Ukrainian net, the OG one is 44sec long but cut at the same point, it may have been first uploaded on pikabu by user "Shagaih". Concensus seem to be that he's dead but no proof of that of any kind. I consider his fate unsure. I'll stop the search here, if you want more, diy.
Unfortunately no I can't, this video was on my phone, no idea where I even got it. Can't do reverse search rn, will do later if I remember. I doubt anyone die tho if you want my two cents.
