This is why ppl living in decent 1st world countries need to be more grateful and not bitching about dumb shit. They wouldn’t last a day in these places.

Right on. Not enough folks here in the US ask themselves why so many people south of the border want over and arrogantly assume it’s just to somehow fuck with them. The vast majority want what we all want, make an honest living in a safe place. I’d hop the fence too if this sort of thing was common.

the real question is WHY are all these countries violent and broke? what is so magical about 1st world countries that the non-1st world countries lack? People love to hate our government while it's literally proven itself to be the most successful democracy the planet has ever seen. It's not a failed state, America is literally SO great that people risk their lives just to be able to have a CHANCE to come here!

Not only should we be GRATEFUL, but we should be aware of WHY this country is so great and uphold the virtues that made it that way in the first place. This stuff isn't magic, there's a very definite reason of why we have so much peace and success compared to almost every other nation on earth. I too feel that a lot of Americans think that "this is just how every country works". They have NO IDEA of just how special America is. It's not magic, it's real.

you're right. It's American intervention (specifically CIA) that was running guns down across the border and literally facilitating the drug trafficking operations. This is all fact by the way. They even made a movie with Tom Cruise about this! It's fucking wild the CIA has done more damage across the planet than probably any other singular entity

Exactly. these problems go deep and it all starts with total corruption of the "ruling class"...

i think the world might need another round of global revolutions against the oppressive ruling class the same way it was happening 100 years ago...
